1962 car Road Legal with V5 and with full FIA papers until end 2028.
Huge history file and significant expenditure. Recent summary :
2022 - Full race Mass Engine including Billet Crank & Rods and special valves & pistons giving 206 BHP in 925 Kg weight. Dyno Sheets available. New Clutch, Starter Motor, Differential. Twin Bearing rear axle conversion (BPA).
Total suspension overhaul with new shock absorbers & springs & nylotron bushes all round. (Neil Howe). New Radiator & Race distributor. New Fuel pumps. Full suspension geometry set up.
2023 - Currently at TTP for front repainting and engine refresh including 2 x brand new Weber 45 DCOE carburetors.
Complete engine overhaul with TTP. Anything requiring replacement or upgrade for 2024 season has been carried out. This has also included new brake & clutch master cyliners & resevoirs. rebuilt starter motor, new battery
In race terms car will be sold with Zero miles ready for the 2024 season.
Estimated cost of build in excess of £100K. In my ownership (3 years) I have spent £35K. Bill of sale available with all other invoices.
This car has been raced at Spa 6 Hours, Silverstone Classic and Equipe GTS all very competitively in its class. Independent references can be obtained from well known specialists TTP as well as John Pearson & Rob Cull, the organisers of the Equipe race series.
Car is elegible for most historic race championships.
The car comes with two sets of wheels ( one set has brand new Dunlop L tyres ) as well as ' running spares ' and, subject to separate negotiations, a spare engine block and cylinder head as well as a back axle also with twin bearing conversion. Fitted transponder also subject to offer.
