This Iceberg car was declared CAT D in August 2003 early in it's life, although properly repaired by a Renault dealer at the time, I didn't feel quite so bad modifying this one. The idea behind this conversion was to create a road useable mid engined track day car with more power, lower CofG and less weight than the V6.

The engine fitted is an Andy Williams built Subaru EJ25 2457cc Turbo with welded block and forged internals, together with mapping by RCM (Roger Clark Motorsport).....470 bhp and 624 Nm. of torque using a Simtek ECU with link cable and mapping software.        
Welded closed deck block, 14mm head studs, Nitrided crankshaft, Williams Connecting Rods, Mahle 2618 Forged Pistons, RCM Multi Layer Head gaskets, UK 2.0 Litre AVECS Cylinder Heads, Supertech Valves, RCM ( Exhaust ) Timing pulleys, New age Crank Pulley, Cosworth Kevlar H/Duty timing belt, RCM Parallel fuel rail, Deatschwerks 750cc fuel injectors, Turbosmart V Raceport BOV, Fuel Lab fuel regulator, RCM Oil catch tank, Forge header tank, Bachler 340 l/m fuel pump, RCM unequal length ceramic coated headers modified, RCM venturi up-pipe modified,  bespoke exhaust system all stainless, Precision 500hp Turbo, RTS lightweight flywheel and HD organic clutch, Simtek ECU Running AVECS + launch control.

Now running reduced bhp due to exhaust silencer and 200 cell metalised sports CAT restrictions.

Subaru 5 speed 4WD gearbox which has had the center differential and the rear drive extension removed. The internal shafts locked and a new rear cover plate fitted. Running as a rear transaxle with bespoke cable gear linkage and drive shafts.

MOT’d in this configuration for the last three years, currently expired.(26 Oct 2023 ).
Comprehensive Insurance for me was £440 in 2022 with Sky     ( Safely Insured ) listing ALL modifications.

As this vehicle has been built primarily as a ‘track day’ car it is ‘sold as seen’ with no warranty given or implied and the seller must satisfy themselves as to the condition and suitability of the vehicle as to the intended use.
