For sale is this 2000 Porsche 996 Carrera endurance race car. This car has an extremably high spec level and features Hartech's 3.7 litre engine conversion, a brand new Porsche supplied gearbox, Brembo race GT brakes (6 pot fronts, 4 pot rears)  and Ohlins coilovers which have recentley been refurbished. Also fitted is a large tank Accusump system for engine longevity.

The shell has a welded in multipoint Custom Cages roll cage fitted with additional front bracing. In the front tub is fitted the battery and electric power steering system.  

The car is for sale ready to test and race and so comes complete with transponder, V-Box data logger, Progressive Motorsport drinks system and pit to car radio. The seat belt is in date until the end of 2025 and the SPA design fire extinguisher system will be fully serviced once the car is sold. The car weighs 1226 Kg.

For the purchaser, a set-up and shakedown track day is included in the price with full track side support at either Silverstone, Snetterton, Castle Combe or Brands Hatch.

The spares package includes - brake discs, pads, a pair of brand new rear Direzzas, two new rear wets, two very lightly used wets, very lightly used front wets and a very good set of Direzzas. X2 sets of 18 inch Racing Dynamic rims come with the car.

This car raced twice in 2023, winning class two in the Britcar 6 hour, along with 3rd overall at Donington. And again at  Snetterton in the Britcar Trophy championship round where it finished 2nd in class in both races.

The car is only for sale due to lack of use and other racing commitments by our driver. The car was built by County Classics Racing in 2010 and first competed in the Porche Club championship driven by Richard Higgins with great success, and more recentley in Britcar, again with Richard. Our current driver has also competed in Britcar last year. 

Viewing at our Kent (TN12) workshop is highly recommended. The car wants for nothing and is ready to use and enjoy. County Classics would dearly love to continue running this firm favourite, and we are able to offer competitive race support, logistics and data analysis services. 

We strongly feel the first serious buyer to view this car will appreciate the absolute bargain this car is. It's been developed over a ten year period, does everything it was built to do incredibly well, and has been built to a very high standard.
