This car was built by Dave Cook for Vauxhall and originally driven by John Cleland & Vince Woodman. They won races in the 1987 Thundersaloon Championship and the title in 1988 when it was clearly the car to beat.
The current owner has meticulously maintained this car and it represents a unique piece of UK motorsport history being both a one off and a championship winning car.
Engine: Fuel injected small block Chevy, running on race fuel an originally bult by Swindon Race Engines
Gearbox-Xtrac X700 5 speed
Rear axle-Ford 9" LSD now fitted. The original locked diff is present.
Wheels 18x12.5" Front 18x14.5" Rear 3 sets with BBS Centres.
There is a spare engine also included in the sale.
