This Renault 8 Gordini was built by renowned Renault expert Steve Swan and was hillclimbed by himself and his wife. Featuring a 1400cc engine (built by Salv Sacco) producing 147bhp (readout on file) and refreshed in January of this year (new liners, 76.5mm bore etc). Not used competitively for a number of years but has run recently at Shelsley Walsh (non competitive day) on new Kumho tyres. Full cage, seats, belts, onboard fire extinguisher (all out of date). A distinctive and rare car.
