Fully rebuilt chassis , two new lightweight bodies were made, the mould for these is with Fowler motorsport.  Bold engine . Car imported from USA was brought up to UK historic race spec eligible for HSCC with papers. This car was once later owned by David Loring who restored it first time in the US, he won Brands festival in 1969 in a D9.   This car is the  very first D9 that was made using a round tube Merlyn chassis number 001 , subsequent Caldwells had a square section chassis. So it's slightly different to other D9's. Possibly the only fully restored Caldwell in the UK. Very few are left and most remain in the US and Europe, just 100 D9 cars were originally produced in Marblehead Mass for 2 years.  We got some good results with my son driving it but I'm now feeling too old to race so its got to go. Various spares and gear ratios, spare body shell. 3 sets of weller wheels ,needs extinguisher refresh and new belts.
