Gray Adams 1989 Trailer, Race Transporter can carry 4 single seaters  

The trailer was bought as an empty shell by ourselves around  the year 1997. We had the trailer converted around the same time by a coachworks company to be able to carry up to four single seater race cars with a lounge seating area.

The trailer was used by ourselves to carry F1 cars to compete in the Euroboss Championship and other events.

It can hold up to 4 single seaters or 2-3 GT type cars or possibly 4 smaller cars such as MX5,Caterham 7 etc. It’s fitted with a Dhollandia tail lift; I am not sure of the lifting weight but it can lift a GT car. 

Has numerous 240V plug sockets along the deck with plenty of lighting including lighting in the belly lockers. Also has tyre/wheel storage above the top deck to carry up to 4 full sets of spare wheels/tyres of F1 car size. 

The top deck front section drops down should you carry saloon/GT cars or just provides more space if you’re only carrying two single seaters. 

The seating area consist of a U shape seating, 240v plug sockets, cupboard, fridge and tinted sliding windows.

The trailer was fitted with a full-length GH awning at the time of conversion; however, this was damaged by high winds which pulled the brackets off of the top of the trailer. 

The damaged awning is included with the sale, poles, sheets etc. I have been told that GH Awning’s have changed their name to the Awning Company and could possibly get parts to repair it.

Please bare in mind that the trailer has been used almost every season since the late late 90s up until 2013ih so it shows signs of wear and tear. Since then, it has only been used a handful of times for F1 Demos.

Everything works as it should and would be ideal for club racers or a small team starting out, but would benefit of a full respray and modernising the seating area.

The Trailer has just had a new 12 month MOT so it can be used straight away.
