This stunning Lister Jaguar 'Knobbly' Evocation is a highly convincing evocation of the iconic sports car that dominated the racing scene in the late 1950s.

Built and prepared by renowned restorers Merlin Classic Cars, in conjunction with the well known Lister Jaguar builder and racer Eike Wellhousen, this evocation boasts impeccable credentials.

Mr Wellhausen owns a genuine car and has built (and raced) several evocations over time. 

Powered by a 4.2 litre XK DOHC straight-six engine fed by triple 2inch SU E Type carburettors, this evocation is a true performer. 

The Lister 'Knobbly' Jaguar is steeped in racing history, with its debut in 1957 and its dominance in the World Sports Car Championship and various unlimited capacity international events. This evocation is a true homage to that iconic car, and its history is a testament to its quality and performance.

This stunning cars GRP bodywork, produced and raced by renowned Lister builder Eike Wellhousen, is finished in Metallic Ice Blue with a grey trim.

The high specification of the car is as follows, 

Lightweight Realm Engineering D-Type chassis, designed by Adrian Reynard for a D-Type replica racing series, sat on Jaguar XJ6 suspension with poly bushes and new adjustable Avo coilovers.

Reconditioned Jaguar XJ6 4.2 litre engine fed by triple 2" SU E-Type carburettors with a custom, stainless steel, tubular exhaust manifold and side exit silencer. 

The engine is cooled by way of a brand new radiator and pipes with a high mounted aluminium swirl pot.

The engine is followed by a reconditioned Jaguar XJ6 overdrive gearbox with a custom made, lightened and balanced, prop shaft and a new road clutch all driving the E-Type limited slip differential at the rear.

Stopping the gorgeous car are a set of new XJ6 disc brakes all round including new calipers, discs and pads.

The rear of the car encloses the new aluminium fuel tank along with the SU fuel pump and inline fuel filter.

Inside the car you will find grey vinyl seats, aluminium floors and panelling, a quick release momo steering wheel and a Realm Engineering split front and rear pedal box with adjustable pedals to suit any height of driver. Along with these you will find brand new E-Type gauges and a high mounted rear view mirror.

The exterior is complemented by Minilite wheels with Kumho tyres and a tonneau cover for the times the car is not being driven.
