Description:
Hi
I am selling my 2bular Lotus V6 Track/Road exhaust with carbon tips and extra silencers..
I have had the exhaust for 1 year and I kept it on the car for the whole year even though I brought it so that I could do track days as the standard OEM Lotus exhaust is too loud for track use. The 2Bular exhaust sounded nice so I just left it on for road use also. I've only done about 1200 miles in the car in the last year so the exhaust hasn't done much.
I have had the exhaust on for track days at Cadwell Park and Thruxton without the extra silencers (just carbon tips) and passed all noise tests easily.
I'm pretty sure you'll never need to the additional silencers for track use but they are included just incase and it's a 2 minute job to bolt em on if ever required.
2Bular make some really beautiful exhausts and the standard of the exhaust and components really is top notch.
This exhaust will enable you to get on track with any supercharged V6 Lotus Exige or Evora. I have a 2018 V6 Lotus Exige Cup 430 and the 2Bular went on like an OEM part. I am selling the car so I have put the standard OEM exhaust back on and am selling this track exhaust.
The exhaust is £850 for collection and can be posted for an additional £30 (£880 with postage)

What 2Bular say about the exhaust;
PRODUCT DETAILS
A bigger (265mm x 135mm) x 610mm long silencer. A quieter version of the smaller/louder (200mm x 125mm) x 560mm long non-valved Lightweight system. You can still save weight (important for Track use) and you get rid of the exhaust valve and its associated pipework and packing materials (always advisable). This design is below 105dbs. If you addthe unique 2bular Silenced De-Cat Pipe (SDCP) AND the 2bular add-on tailpipe silencers you will be below 98dbs. If you want quieter than that(!) - you must fit the 2bular QP SYSTEM. The add-ons are not suitable for Road use. See the separate page for details on these parts.
A lot of internal handiwork on the silencer with its hand-rolled core pipe and 4 resonance chambers helping to reduce the noise and Carbon tailpipes reducing the weight even more. ON THE EARLIER CARS WITH THE SMALLER-BORE 51mm DOWNPIPES, THIS SYSTEM WILL BE 2db's QUIETER THAN THE 4** SERIES CARS WITH THEIR 60mm DOWNPIPES.
THIS 2bular EXHAUST COMES WITH ITS OWN DE-CAT/LINK-PIPE BETWEEN THE DOWN-PIPE FLEXY AND THE SYSTEM and is connected to the system with a V-band connector. GAS-TIGHT/SECURE - NO UNSIGHTLY LEAKS OVER THE ANTI-ROLL BAR HEATSHIELD. The tailpipe module, again using a V-band connector to the system, with its beautiful merge collector running below the big oval silencer is a unique feature that only 2bular uses on all its V6 exhausts - quality.
THIS IS A STRAIGHT-THRU EXHAUST AND LOSES NO POWER COMPARED TO THE FACTORY SYSTEM. Check the dyno-graph comparing the 2bular 70mm with the factory 76mm - a small gain for the 2bular although I would have liked another run several hundred miles later after the ECU had adjusted for the higher boost of the 2bular 70mm system! But it's important to show that the 70mm bore is best for power and torque.
What 2Bular say about the extra silencers;
So an aftermarket tuner has given you some extra bhp? But more power = more NOISE! You would like to enjoy all those extra horses but the decibel limits are strict and their exhaust is now waaaaay too NOISY!
OR THEY OFFER YOU THEIR NEW 'QUIET' BAFFLED/RESTRICTIVE SYSTEM WHICH LOSES MOST OF THE POWER YOU HAVE JUST GAINED (AND PAID PLENTY FOR!).
ONLY 2BULAR DESIGN AND BUILD A STRAIGHT-THRU/TRACK-FRIENDLY EXHAUST FOR THE SUpERCHARGED V6's.
The 70mm 2bular systems on the supercharged installs are good for over 550bhp. Perfect for TVS1900 conversions!
I use a V-band connector between my HJS HD catalysers and the muffler but tuners stick to the factory 63.5mm or 76mm slip-on design. Early V6S/350 cars use the smaller diameter. Later 380/4** series cars use the 76mm. That slip-on pipe pushes the valve-bloc towards the REAR of the factory (or after-market) muffler so I have to bring it back to the MIDDLE of the 2bular muffler. Requires a nifty lobster-back/sectional bend.
Given that you will already have an aftermarket catalyser fitted (and I DO hope it's an HJS HD item!) you won't be able to fit the small resonance silencer which I like to use in that position. Saves some pennies but I have extra fabrication/TIG-welding to do on that 70mm bend up into the muffler! A stainless clamp is supplied for the slip-on. PLEASE NOTE - NO NEED FOR THE V-BAND AT THE MUFFLER ENTRY NOW.
Feedback from EU customers say this system is ok for almost all their circuits. ZOLDER is VERY strict and you will DEFINITELY need the add-on tailpipe silencers for there.
