1960 Lotus 18 Formula Junior

 Frame 987193. body plate 18/J/789 (attached to car).  Sold in batch of six with black frame to Papar Rodriguez. raced by A Álvarez in 1961 in support race to the 1961 Grand Prix. Copy of race program available. History thereafter hazy but Bill Jowarski , Don Hamilton and Burt Kurtis (1980) seems to have owned/raced in USA.

Bought in 2011 to Australia  by Rob Hanns and Steve Lunn.
Purchased in parts by G Dell in 2018 and totally rebuilt. Chassis repaired by Elwyn Bickely and gearbox rebuilt by Colliers (Renaut). Cost to rebuild noted until it got $72992 and then ceased noting. Motor standard Ford Anglia 1000 cc. New front body and another new one included. Original wobbly magnesium wheels. New original style steering wheel, pink leather covered. New water and oil radiator. New fuel tank with baffles. New seat covers, all instruments. 2x 40 MM Webers, all hydraulics replaced and new pedal box fitted. New exhaust fitted, new radius rods and wishbones fitted.
