The car has an 1.50 inch roll bar with two side impact bars on the driver’s side, one on the passenger side and a front hoop under the dash.
The battery is installed behind the passenger’s seat position. The car has a total loss electrical system, and has a starter button in the engine bay. This Mini is equipped with a high torque starter motor, and a Mirco Dynamics ignition module.

At that time new straight cut drop gears were installed as well. The transmission is an LSD unit. The drivetrain is equipped with a lightweight flywheel and competition clutch.
This car is equipped with an early, hardwired, AMB transponder, that does not require a subscription!

This engine has 8 easy Midwestern Council Vintage race weekends on it and the car has never raced in the rain. In between the races she has been stored in a dry garage. Oil and oil filter (Canton) were changed between every weekend. Redline 50 Racing oil was used. It was raced by an older lady racer, who never ever pushed it hard. The driver no longer passes the medical, hence the reason to sell the car.
