Brookspeed are pleased to offer for sale this Exceptionally Rare Porsche DP Motorsort 935 II. DP Motorsport is a little known tuner and Porsche fettler based in Overath in Germany. Originally founded in 1973 by Ekkehard Zimmermann and known as Design and Plastik. They started out making composite parts for race cars such as wings and chassis for Formula V and Super V race cars. This caught the interest of the Kremer brothers and a partnership was formed to fettle the Porsche 911 race cars. A new chassis and composite body was formed with the addition of a flat slant nosed form. These cars became very successful and where a main part of global sports car racing from 1975 onwards. In 1979 a Porsche 935 K3 driven by Klaus Ludwig won Le Mans 24hr. This car propelled Kremer to legendary Porsche status and the chassis and body was designed and built by DP Motorsport.
