Description:
A well-known and very quick car in class 5a/1100cc. Lots of success in the hands of various owners, (Brown/Capper/Carter).
Lots of class wins/BTDBTDBTD’s since I've bought it in 2020, my best times:
- Harewood 52.62
- Three Sisters single lap 40.93 new course record
- Three Sisters double lap 66.69 new course record
- Barbon 24.29 new interclub class record
This is my first single seater and I have only completed a dozen events in it, I'm an inexperienced Single Seater driver, so there is certainly more time to come from the car.
Spec as follows,
- Full carbon tub – ( not to be confused with aluminium honeycomb version )
- Force TA front wing and end plates, Force rear wings, Carbon nose box, Force TA floor/diffuser
- Big bore 1070cc GSXR K8 engine, built by Mike Smith at beginning of 2019 ft freshly bored block, new JE pistons, Carrillo rods, fully ported head, billet/baffled sump, Power commander, etc.... . Itemised invoice available
- Dyno’d/Mapped at Daytuner in 2019 producing great power/torque
- Full Flatshifter Expert paddle gear shift fitted 2019 with full throttle clutch-less shifts up and down with auto blip
- Stainless exhaust with PipeWorx carbon silencer
- Carbon air box
- Koni F1 shocks – rebuilt and revalved by Triple M Motorsport in 2020 , complete with new springs and full geo/corner weight earlier this year
- Eccentric diff housing for easy adjustment/gear swapping
- 2 pairs wheels, one with Pirelli Ultrasoft 3 events old, second set fitted with Avon intermediates. Two further spare rims also included.
- Sabelt belts in date 2022, needs a new set for 2023
- New brakes pads 2019 and 2 spare sets
- New lithium battery 2020
- New fuel pump/filter 2018
- Various spares inc sprockets/chains/engine parts etc..
Reluctantly only for sale as I'm just not using it enough. It is in good condition and offers a genuine chance to mix it with the top end of the British Championship 5a/1100cc runners for a fraction of the cost of a new car. My best time at Harewood would have won the class in both British Championship events this year. There’s still room for further performance gains via methanol conversion/traction control/ if desired.
I did crash at Harewood in 2021, damage included:
- Front wing
- Floor
- Rear LHS corner
All repaired with new parts from Ian Dayson (Force Racing Cars) who also fitted the new floor and front wing and supported me throughout the repair process.
I also have a Woodford RL2000 enclosed trailer for sale. Very well built and tows beautifully. Car and kit fit nicely with nose removed/stood up. Trailer fully serviced mid 2019 including new rear lights. Will sell separately but only once car has sold.
