Offered for sale is my 1978 Ferrari 308 GTB/C. This car started off life as a road car and was converted into a road legal track car in the 80’s by TD Motorsport enjoying great success racing in the UK Maranello championship and abroad. (see attached plaque photo).

This car has been in my owner ship since 2010 and raced in the Scottish Classic championship and with the FOC club UK.

The car has under gone a full bare chassis rebuild over the past 5 years, which has just been completed, as follows.

Bare chassis blast and paint, new fibre floor and bulk head panels (alloy rear bulkhead panel is removable for engine access). Lowered driver floor/seating area.

All suspension wishbones blasted and power coated, all polly bushed.

Refurbished AP 4 pot calipers and fully floating discs, 330mm dia front and 315mm dia rear, bias pedal box and hyd clutch, hyd hand brake

Aeroquip brake and fuel lines.

New ball joints, wheel bearings and refurbished Koni adjustable coil overs. Adjustable front and rear anti-roll bars.

Quick rack steering, with all camber and suspension set up done.

The body is completely converted to glass fibre with the addition of group 4 rear arched and a 288 GTO rear spoiler. Full 6 point bolted in cage. Front spoiler is Koenig, although this can be change to 308 deep front style if required.

Plexiglass windows, with heated glass front screen.

Bespoke wiring harness, fully fused and relayed for each electrical component.

New 8” x 16” front and 10” x 16” compo-motive split rims.

Engine is a highly modified 308 race unit full rebuild just completed, running on jenvey throttle bodies and Omex ECU, with 348bhp at 8500rpm (full spec on request) can rev to over 9000rpm, fully dry sumped. Rear fitted oil cooler.

Custom made 12 gallon foam filled front fitted fuel tank with twin L.P pumps feeding rear fitted H.P inj pump.

Gearbox is a Jack Knight straight cut dog box with AP racing sintered clutch.

2 spare sets 17” x 8.5”and 18” x 11.5” wheels (wets and drys) also included.
