Description:

This car was built by the Classic and Sports Car Club as the prototype of the RX8 Trophy series cars, and the build guide is based on this car. It has also raced in other series.

Its a 230 bhp car with 6 speed gearbox, and all the normal RX8 features. There is a full cage, plumbed in extinguisher syste, two button isolation system, race seat (and ientical passenger seat for giving rides at track days. 6 point driver's harness, 4 point passenger.

The Trophy series allows limited modifications, which this car has, inc. oil injection system ( for extended rotor life), uprated linings, competition cat.

The 12 wheels include 4 with a brand new set of series Nankang tyres, a set of 4 road Falkens and 4 with used Nankangs.

The car is MOTd till 9/12/22.

I have a variety of spares, including a bumper, doors and so on, plus an original driver's seat, steering rack, secondary air pump etc. some rear seats have been modified to fit in around the cage, if required.

The car starts hot or cold ( recent trip to Goodwood gave ample opportunity to test this!). Pulls well, easily saw 120+ on Goodwood during a track day with passenger.
