Description:

 

This car has been in my ownership for some years and in that time has undergone extensive work and updating. It was originally in the Healey family and raced by them as a class A car in the lackford Challenge. It was originally built by Peter May at a good deal more cost than the current asking price.

The bodywork has now been re-worked to enable the car to be used in differing formulas including the Swinging Sixtes CSCC, where it was the quickest car on track at last years Knockhill double Header. 

Since Knockhill it has been refreshed and made ready for this season.

 

Spec includes;

Fiberglass body work with space frame rear end.

Rose jointed suspension all round with usual linkage arrangements for the Class A fully modified cars.

Big brake system to front using Wilwood calipers and a P May conversion using front adjustable telescopic dampers.

The rear set up using Wilwood calipers on midget disc brakes. P May Half shafts and limited slip diff using a 3.9 ratio. Pan hard rod and coil over shocks with 4 point trailing arms all of which are adjustable.

Engine is a 1380 developing excellent BHP figures, ( Data sheet available).

Has a P may developed Cam with vernier timing gear, (twin chain).

Using a steel crank with strengthed centre main.

Omega pistons fully lightend and balanced rods.

Clutch is F3 concentric type linked to a recently built Dog Box.

Carbs are slipt Weber 45s.

Engine has been relocated and moved back 4" to aid handling and balance.

exhaust runs through the car with a side exit posistion to aid ground clearance .

Has an in date seat, belts and fire exstingusher.
