2005 BMW 116i built specifically for the Gaz Shocks 116 Trophy.

Robs words on the car "From the driver’s perspective the car is always consistently fast at a variety of circuits, especially when it matters most in the final stages of the 90min race."

Built for the 2020 season and has completed in 2020, 2021 and 2022 seasons. 

Fully compliant and ready for the 2023 season 116 trophy  (subject to new regulations)
No expense spared, professional and very well built and prepared car, ready to race and win. 

This car has been driven by only two highly experienced driver's (R Carvell and H Vaulkhard 2 races) for three seasons now and has been consistently in the top end of the results with many podium finishes

Engine
Full engine rebuild carried out before last Snetterton round of 2022 where the car was leading the race for a long time till getting caught out with the safety car rule!! 

Full refresh of gearbox and back axle pre 2022 season 

Engine oil change after every round using top quality Millers oil  

New BMW engine crank sensor, coil packs and alternator  

All correct 2021 air box and ecu upgrade.
Klarius exhaust system.
Larger oil cooler and oil cooler pipes
TTV trophy flywheel
New clutch assembly pre 2021
Drive Shafts reconditioned
Air conditioning system removed
Baffled Sump

New front shock absorbers fitted for last race of 2022

Stack gauges fitted to interior to monitor oil pressure, oil temperature and coolant temperature 
Cooling fan system fitted with revotec electronic controller and internal manual override  

Chassis work (pre 2021)
Gas shocks and springs as per regulations

Adjustable front ARB links 
M3 front lower control arms
PU bushed front and rear suspension throughout
Rear sub frame had full strip down and powder coat, new rear control arms, subframe gussets fitted
Braided brake lines all round 

New front brake callipers and front discs
New rear brake callipers and discs

Interior
Fully stripped interior, all correct interior as per the regulations
Wiring loom stripped and excess wiring removed  

Electric battery master switch and electric fire extinguisher system
race spec battery fitted and located to passenger footwell   

Corbra Sebring FIA Race seat
OMP steering wheel
Detachable steering boss
Cobra TRS 6 point harnesses 

Front Electric Windows and mirrors still function
all four door cards replaced with race car door cards 

Exterior:
As finished in 2021 in BMW quarzblu and orange wrap, matt black bonnet and red front grills
