Clio 172 race car built on a 2003 Clio 172 Cup chassis

I used this car regularly in CSCC tin tops including at their Spa summer classic rounds and regularly got class podiums. The car goes really well and sounds awesome, circa 205-210bhp (depending on dyno and approx 900kg.

I am only selling as I find I don't have time anymore and it is a shame for it to sit in the garage....

Engine

For reliability in the 40 minute races the engine was kept fairly standard other than -

ARP rod bolts, ACL big end bearings, Jenvey 45 ITBs and filter, Mk2 golf radiator and lightweight fan, OMEX 600 ECU.

Transmission

Std cup 5 speed gear box with Quaife differential

Interior

Full Safety Devices R022 Cage (blue book and FIA compliant) c/w homologation label, Lifeline electric plumbed in extinguisher, Armtech Hybrid Isolator, red TRS Ultralight 6 point harness valid until end of 2022, Cobra Sebring GT seat valid until end of 2022, Race Technologies Dash2 Pro with all advanced features active + GPS + buttons etc, PowerVamp 25 race battery, custom switch box and wiring, heater matrix and fan ect all removed, dash partially removed and finally a FIA rainlight.

Exterior

Heated windscreen, headlights still fitted (main beam only), Aerocatches to bonnet and boot, fully wrapped in Hexis white with wavey Union Jack roof, poly door windows with sliders. Rest of the car still has glass.

Suspension and brakes

Fully powerflex poly bushed, D2 coilovers, Whiteline adjustable rear ARB, KTR engine mounts, standard front calipers with Brembo HC discs, DS1.11 pads, braided lines, standard rear calipers brembo HC discs, DS2500 pads, braided lines and TAROX race brake fluid. No ABS!!

Misc

Comes with 3 sets of red wheels with various sets of tyres fitted (Direzzas, Toyos, Uniroyals), there are also some other spares, both used and new. 

I also have another stripped but complete running 172 (no cage) available as a spare for an extra £1500.00
