Since its inception the respect for - and recognition of quality builds has grown very quickly.
His 917 creations - top fan conversions have been met with great reviews - a brilliant engineer and very much a hands on approach to all projects that pass through their shop.
This build started from a very clean 1979 SC.
Engine: 3 liter 6 cylinder Normally aspirated with compression 10.5, JE Pistons RSR Cams by Van Der Linde M/S, Ported and Polished heads, engine built by Racing High Tech Services South Africa.

Transmission 5 Speed Manual, short shifter.
Limited slip diff Clutch Paddle cutch plate and master cylinder
Actuated exhausts Tuned length branches with individual silencers
Height adjustable racing shock absorbers and coil over springs Suspension Front - 935 type rod end adjustable control arms Rear - Elephant racing type adjustable spring plate. Torsion bars removed, coil over springs all round.
Fuel Tank As Standard with filler pipe changed to suit body
Quick release race type steering wheel
Brakes: 930 Turbo discs and AP racing 6600 calipers.Pedals Non assisted with Front and rear brake cylinders with remote brake bias adjustment.
Seating: 2 Cobra Bucket seats and 6 point race style seat belts fitted. Welded seat brackets with bolt hole adjustment.
Wheel set 17 inch by 9 inch front and 10 inch rear Track width Widened by wheel spacers. RSR rim set also available and may replace the set currently on the car - 9 inch front and 11 inch rear.
