Description:

This BMW 2002 Ti is a smart looking and fast historic race car which is being sold with both steel and fibre glass panels along with glass and polycarbonate windows. The car was used 3 times (prior to my purchase in 2015) by the previous owner following a full engine rebuild by race engine specialist Lester Owen. The engine produces ~220BHP. The gearbox is a Getrag 5 speed unit with a dogleg 1st gear and the diff is a large case BMW multi plate LSD with a 4.45 final drive. The diff was rebuilt just before I purchased the car. This 2002 has only been used lightly by me since I purchased it, (1x10 lap race and 1 hill climb) and is in full race order and ready to go. It is a joy to drive, wet or dry.

 

The sale incorporates all parts I have associated with the car, including the panels described above, a selection of wheel rims and historic race tyres (14 in total), spare steering boxes, suspension arms, front and rear sub-frames, spare front and rear lights and a number of smaller items (oil, brake pads etc). The car is also being sold with a Brian James RS3 race shuttle.

 

 

The total cost for the car, spares and the RS3 shuttle is £29,500.00. If a ferry is required following the purchase I am willing to tow the car to the ferry port at Rosslare, Co Wexford.
