Here for sale is this interesting little racecar, which when re-commissioned would be a fun and characterful historic racer or hillclimb car.

I bought this car on a bit of a whim at Bonhams over a year ago.  Guided at £2-£3k, it seemed like a fun project to get stuck into.  Sadly, Covid hit and it's been in my trailer ever since.  Also as a result of Covid I have lost my storage unit and yard, and so I am now desperate for space, so this has to go.

It's a 1966 Fiat 850 coupe.  Bodywork is good, although there is some creasing at the front that needs straightening.  It's rear-engined, and I think what's in there currently is a Fiat Punto engine, but I'm not sure what sort.  Equally unsure of the gearbox.  It's running discs front and rear.  I haven't even tried to get it running (no battery, for starters), and so this is a genuine re-commission with your own parts project.

I'm based in East Sussex if you'd like to come and take a look.  Just to add I do have the bonnet for it, it just wasn't on when I took the pictures!

Given it's still in my trailer delivery possibly in the South-East at cost.

Please be aware this is not a complete historic racecar - it does not have a period engine, and comes with no documentation at all.
