Lotus Elan 26R

I was (with a friend )the second owner of this car when being 19 years old and knowing nothing about lotuses but thinking we could be in formula one next year(1969)....the car had been crashed in Montlhery .by previous first owner..some witnesses (reknowned belgian racer of period with sister car)told us(45 years later) they remember the car hanging verticaly in trees without touching the ground ...so we arrived and bought this idiot trap we never succeed to race correctly because of course very briefly repaired by "the crash man"so we sold it after some attempt to race it without any succes.and we let it go for "nothing " and 10years ago I once again cross his live when a friend told me he has saw an elan under an other car in a scrape yard (not sure that's english) and guess who was there ? so being now a little bit more accurate with elan I decided to give her a third live...........   if you have a (sensible) offer to place just do it on redcarandco@gmail.com  because my hears are not phone friendly and if you want more photos also and sorry but no answer by phone
