Ex VW Cup race car Professional bare shell build by ATMR (AllardTurnerMotorSport) with a 45k Build cost in 2003 Lightly Raced in 2004/5 then retired and kept by the same owner with occasional track days with service & maintenance since.

Currently owned by Allard Sports Cars Ltd, this car has never seen hard use, built to compete in the VW Classic cup in Class B. Fitted with a 2.0 16V ARB Race engine with Jenvy ITB, producing 225bhp on MBE management. Still drives as new, potentially a very competitive car in the right hands.  Never damaged and still has all original panels.  Inside the car presents very well, paint, fittings, etc all in very good order.

Recent service schedule, engine rebuild, gearbox rebuild with new 2nd gear and clutch, new discs and pads, new fuel pump and filter. And a full check up by us sorting out a few minor things since purchase. Known history from new, never been damaged.  Rare to find a VW Golf 3 with history in this condition. A really nice race car and offers excellent value for money.

Fire extinguisher is in good order, requiring a refill/service as is out of MSA date.  The Schroth harnesses are in date, upto 2022.  Roll cage is a certified Custom Cages brand, the usual coded welding quality, featuring crossed side bars and frontal extension bars up under dash to struts.  Internal fuel and brake lines, nicely secured to the floor pan, etc.  Engine bay also presents very well, no oil leaks of any kind, uprated engine mounts, Allard breather system, plus other Allard related performance parts fitted and all in working order.  Battery remains in the engine compartment.  Performance stainless manifold as well as a recently fitted full stainless exhaust system.  Engine still feels as though it retains its original performance figures. (tested recently at Castle Combe by Allard test driver).
