Up for sale is our fantastic Twin Deck Race transporter, shes been our home from home at many race meetings and never let us down!

The Mercedes Actros 1848 tractor unit (2005) is unusually good for the overall price with only 43000kms! Fitted with a body kit to improve looks and some bits of trim here and there.  Its got the silky smooth tiptronic Auto gearbox, cab is in good condition inside and the truck has been maintained regularily at Ring Road Garage Buckingham. 

The trailer is older than the truck, but was fully stripped and refitted out in 2005-6 when we purchased the tractor unit from Mercedes. The tail lift was serviced and a new rope fitted by Stonehardy not long before we parked it up end of 2019 season. (its only been started up and moved around the yard this season to keep batteries on the go!) We added some custom ramp extenders to the tail lift for longer cars ourselves (they simply slide in and out of the lift - made from Ally Checker plate).

She was used as a multi car transporter/club orgnaiser base for the British Superlite Championship. The rear lower deck worked fantastic as a spare parts department and loading area for quad bike, generators etc. The rear upper deck took two cars and 50-60 spare tyres. Both rear sections are well lit by 24V central lights or 240V strip lights at either side for working. There are radiators in both rear sections but to be honest we shut them off and just kept the living area warm to save gas.

The generous living area inside is all still in fairly good condition since the refurb was finished in 2006, only used 8-10 times a season by the two of us (owners), so minimal wear and tear. The transporter is heated by an LPG combi boiler and multiple radiators, super cosy in winter. Bathroom is basic but has everything you need with very large Grey/Black tanks located under the belly of the trailer with internally operated valves for emptying. Downstairs kitchen has and oven/hob with extractor (used about 2 times!) And a microwave of course! Lots of storage cupboards and a nice size fridge. Stainless sink area with hot/cold and filtered drinking water taps. 

Pictures should tell the full story really, the front upper deck was kitted as a meeting area with central table but could easily be converted. Three bunks in the central upper living area but could be easily changed to 4 as it used to be when we bought it.

Windows are all tinted and fitted with blinds, roof vents for summer. The passenger side door has a yale lock and the rear doors are container style locking bars with padlock loops
