1965 Corvette C2 Small Block
This Corvette C2 was originally built by the factory as a Daytona race car in 1965, and has continuous competition history in the US from 1971. Recently imported to the UK, the car has been well cared for and it is very good condition all round. It features the Chevy small block 327ci engine which produces 358bhp (dyno sheet on file). It's UK road registered and a very useable car for road rallies or tours as is. With the correct induction and brakes it could be given FIA papers, or raced as is in non-FIA series. Converting the car to a big block engine would be another option to attain FIA papers. There is a very substantial history file with the car. This is a very good value car at the price, for an excellent example of a genuine C2 racecar with excellent provenance and in very tidy condition. Viewing can be arranged by appointment at Fairoaks Airport in Chobham.
