Description:

The Sobek Oilpicks have a capacity of 9L (Sobek part number Z-B 1001 1109) and are fitted with a filter and hose.  There is currently a Staubli connector at the end of the hose, but that can be easily swapped out for a different connector type.

The Sealey TP69 vacuum oil & fluid extractors can be used to draw oil out of a tank.  With some race engines it is preferable to draw the oil out of the tank to prevent it from running back into the engine when the engine is not going to be run for a while.

In our application, we used the vacuum pumps to draw the engine oil out of the tank at the end of each day’s running and then used the Oilpicks on the car’s quick fill connector to put oil back in again the next day.
