2001 tractor unit rebuilt with a new body for racing in 2008 by Hopkins Motorsport 526857km- drives well and in great condition - semi automated 'powershift' gearbox

A fantastic powerful rigid transporter. 3 former keepers and was purchased by me from Hopkins Motorsport in Jan 2015 following another refit of the garage/bedroom/shower room areas to freshen things up and modernise.

In my ownership has been used for GT racing in GT Cup, British GT, AMR LeMans festival at LeMans and various other events and has carried McLaren and Aston GT3 race cars, very capable and has capacity for all kit required to run a GT season.

Height adjustable/removable deck to allow various sized vehicles capacity 2 single seaters/caterham/kit cars but has typically been used in recent years for carrying a GT sized car with space for full set of garage kit, garage boarding and flooring, multiple sets of wheels and spares, quad bikes, tool boxes, pit bikes etc.

Can take a GT3 car on top and sports car below for example, we have had a Aston V12 GT3 and Noble M400 below

maintenance 

last serviced at Mercedes in 2016 but truck will be sold with fresh service included. Front discs and pads replaced April 2018 and only max 4000 miles covered since. Has had two front tyres in my ownership, one in mid 2016 the other mid 18 but will have 80% of life left easily. Tail lift serviced and adjusted Feb 2018. Suspension air cylinder replaced in 2019.

To prep the transporter for sale it is currently undergoing a Pre-MOT inspection by an independent company as due to covid-19 HGV MOT's cannot be carried out, any work identified will be carried out and are happy to provide the information from this inspection and receipts, if a buyer wants the truck prior to an MOT being available we will discount the cost of that being done.
