Rebuilt Ford Twin Cam engine for sale. 

• 1600 cc capacity (bore 83.5mm and stroke 72.5mm according to my measurements).

• Inlet valves 39.7mm, exhaust 33.6mm.

• Twin Dellorto carburettors fitted.

• For Dry Sump installation (fitted with new Titan Dry Sump Pump). 

• Fitted with 10" flywheel and 7.5" racing clutch.

• Recently rebuilt by ex-Cosworth engineer at a cost of over £3,000. Work carried out included grinding crank, re-balancing crank/ flywheel/ clutch, honing bores and fitting new big ends, main bearings, piston rings, oil pump, timing chain and crank seals.

• Zero miles since rebuild, except for firing up on static test bench.

• Formerly owned by Historic racers Alan Baillie and Michael Hibberd, and fitted in their respective Lotus 23B Sports Racing cars. 

• Previously fitted to a Brabham Formula 2/ Libre car which was sold less engine; hence now surplus to requirements.

• Single seater-type exhaust system available if required by new owner.

• Located 1 mile from A1(M) near Sandy, Bedfordshire.
