Opportunity to aquire an extremely rare and exciting car in excellent original RHD condition. Unmodified, original paint, excellent interior, 56000 kms(only 35000 miles). Imported to UK by original SA owner in 1990.

No. 88 of 250 cars built by Ford SA in 1984/5 for Homologation in Group 1 Touring car racing which they then dominated. Long list of special OE parts fitted inc. 5L Boss 302 Mustang engine with modified cam, tubular exh. manifolds, special Holley 4V 780 cfm carb, T5 gearbox, special Granada based diff. and driveshafts. Revised suspension geometry, uprated springs, dampers, antiroll bars. AP 4-pot vented disc front brakes, ATE rear disc brakes. Special Ronal 15 x 6 inch alum. wheels. 

All 250 cars were 5-door, Diamond white, grey velour interior, had an "XR4i" type rear twin spoiler and front wheel arch extensions. This car has had "Cosworth" style bonnet vents fitted. Recent MOT.

I have quite a lot of old paperwork and correct chassis plates are in place. Nice and fun as is, or would make a great base for a competitive historic Touring racecar.
