Description:

LolaT642e  Formula Ford built in 1983 as an update to the successful 640 FF of 1982.   It has now just completed a ground up, last nut and bolt rebuild/restoration. It is ready for the new season. 

Chassis shot blasted, rivet holes welded and powder coated, then re-panelled with Dural.
All new suspension wishbones and rose joints, plus new front hubs and wheel bearings all way round

It has a 4 speed Mk 9 Hewland gearbox, with a condition report from PDS. The Engine freshly rebuilt by Paul Gardner. Run time after dyno setup was 1 hour to run it in. The head is a Neil Bold machined item. 

The tyres are ACB10s, all used with Weller wheels freshly powder coated.

The front and rear body sections are original and looking inside they tell a story of use, the top, round front and seat are new sourced from TMW moulding ( holder of all Lola molds)

All new plumbing for brakes and water with a new bespoke radiator, and the addition of a removable steering wheel (for all BFBs) 3 position seat to cater for differing heights or can be removed completly for 6' 2" drivers
