Vintage american sprint car Ford flathead V8 24 stud engine with Offenhauser Heads. Twin Stromberg 97 Carbs. 3 Speed gearbox. Rear hydraulic brakes. Wire 19" wheels with Blockley tyres or 16" Halibrand style wheels with Dunlop racing tyres. Oil and water catch tank with Anderson jump plug. Spare diff                            Since last outing it has had new head gaskets with an engine "refresh".                               

Discovered and restored by Fred Ropkey, owner of the Ropkey Armour Museum in Indiana who used on his own dirt track in his yard. Then owned by Bud Stanley, Florida car collector and racer who used it in US vintage dirt track meetings.            Bought from his estate in 2012. Race prepared, including rebuilt magneto, brakes and rear axle  and since then it has been used by us at many varied events. Hillclimbed at Prescott, raced at VHRA Pendine, invited to all Flywheel events at Bicester Heritage, Sywell Piston and Props and been invited to show at Race Retro.                                                                                            Great potential both as a hillclimb and circuit race car
