Description:
For sale is my beloved V8 Supercar which is based on a Holden Commodore VE chassis (Essentially re-badged as a Chevrolet Lumina), as you may know already there are a few variants of the same chassis in different countries for example here in the UK are Vauxhall VXR8’s or in the US Pontiac G8.
The car was originally built back in 2009 for the WGA V8 Supercar Series in Bahrain and was one of two vehicles used in the Batelco Race Team No.#24. I have now owned the vehicle for 3 years and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it, I have made some key upgrades to ensure the car is compliant for all amateur championships and most importantly remains competitive with the following specification:
Engine -LSX376B8 (440Hp 6000 RPM)
· Naturally aspirated V8 (Water Cooled) / 6.2L Gen4 IV Small Block / LSX Cast Iron Block
· Cylinder Heads – Cast Aluminium (LS3) / Aluminium Forged Pistons
· Camshaft – Hydraulic Roller Tappet
· Single Throttle Body Intake (MSD – Coil packs / NGK Spark plugs / new throttle cable fitted July 2019)
· Front Mount Setrab Oil Cooler
· ECU – MEFI 4b
· New radiator coolant hoses fitted (Brand new GM spare water pump also included in sale)
· Dyno print outs available to show HP and torque figures
Transmission
· Jerico 4 speed gearbox with sequential dog engagement (Full refurbishment and servicing carried out September 2019 by Elite Racing transmissions based in Stoke – Invoice and inspection report available).
· LSD Differential 2.92 Ratio (Spare 3.4 LSD which requires refurbishment included in sale)
· Aluminium Flywheel
· 7.25” Twin plate Competition Race Clutch rated to 950hp which was fitted September 2019.
· Tilton Hydraulic Release bearing (600 HRB Kit) with new braided lines located outside the bell housing and bleed nipple situated in the engine bay.
· Uprated prop-shaft with slip yoke set-up. (Makes life so much easier than the original doughnut type fitment)
Suspension
· Front and rear Bilstein dampers
· Front double coil spring, rear single coil spring race set-up
· H&R Uprated springs
· Macpherson strut, height adjustable
· Power Steering
· Modified steering column (Height and rake adjustable)
· Dual lower control arms with spherical bearing joints
· Super Pro rear adjustable lower control arms (The original control arms suffer with severe wheel hop and flexing underload, due to the poor arm reinforcement and bushing. The original control arms are limited on the camber adjustment restricting the cars cornering ability – This car now runs -4 negative camber all round and can easily be adjusted at track for change in weather conditions).

This is a unique car which has always created great interest on and off the track, I have used the car competing in the CSCC New Millennium Race series which has been an exciting race calendar for 2019. Last time out at Oulton Park the car secured 1st place in class.
