Caterham 7 Hayabusa 1440 cc Race Car (With V5C)
Due to a change in plans / direction, I have for sale my Hayabusa Caterham 7 race car.
The chassis, body panels, engine, gearbox, diff, oil and water systems, paddle-shift, suspension and vast majority of all mechanical parts are brand new. Those few parts that are not brand new are in a condition that is as good as new.

MSA approved ATL 32 litres bag tank, Bosch 044 uel pump (plus option of FIA approved AFS 55 litres bag tank by separate negotiation)
RLM Racing 1440 cc Stage 2 engine, full top specification race engine, Gen 1 block for strength, with Gen 2 head with latest CNC workings, all RLM reliability mods, Nova racing gear set. Basically, the best of what RLM offer. Dyno time and ~ 2 hours shake down running only.
230 bhp AT THE REAR WHEELS, therefore ~ 270 bhp at the crank shaft.
Weight of car with half a tank of fuel is 465 kgs

The car has a V5C (an original Caterham Blackbird) and so can be made road legal if desired.
This was one of two identical cars built over the last 2 years with the intention of circuit racing with Hayabusa engines.
Absolutely no expense was spared and only the best quality parts and materials used. Cost of the build was over £50K !!
With the right driver this car could easily be at the front of the CSCC Magnificent 7’s race series.
Its sister car and another closely related Caterham Hayabusa are due to join the Mag 7's series this year and show the big Duratec cars what bike engine Caterhams are capable of due to the superb Hayabusa power trains and much lighter overall car weight.
A change in my personal circumstances mean that I am very regrettably offering this car up for sale.
