Original Lotus Cortina big valve cylinder head. This head was on my road going Lotus Cortina and performed well until it was replaced by a full race engine over 15 years ago. Been sat on the workshop shelf ever since.

I was going to use it in my Escort Twincam and would have overhauled it with all new parts but it would be up to the purchaser to decide how far they fell they need to go.

Firstly, it has had very minimal head skimming and is still 4.628 thick. All porting work is well done with inlets opened up to 45mm. Valve sizes are 1.625 and 1.44.

No casting or flange damage and excellent candidate for a rebuild. What you see in the photographs is what you get. I have another head in as good condition but with standard valves and ports.

In addition I have a good crank/rods/pistons from the same engine available. All dimensions approximate.
