Mitsubishi evo9 GT Timeattack/ race/ hill climb car
Hi Mitsubishi evo 9 Timeattack circuit car.
Ive owned the car for 12yrs and it’s now time to move on to a new challenge circuit racing a bmw m3
Fully road legal still. the car has been dry Stored and not used for the last 3yrs due to family and house commitments.
I had a engine failure and the car has been fully rebuilt and specced by AP- Tuning in Norwich who built run and maintain many top TA sprint cars around the country.
All main parts including engine turbo and transmission are brand new fitted a handful of test days ago. I planned to run the car in Selected Timeattack, sprint and hill climb events but have now decided to go door to door racing in a different car.
This is to nice to and clean to go racing in bashing doors with other cars.
Spec list is long and I’m sure I’ve missed a fair bit.
Engine: AP-Tuning built engine (best in the business)
2.3 billet bridgeway crank
oliver I beam rods
wiseco HD pistons
I’d 1300 injectors
Jun 272 cams
all gaskets etc
magnus inlet manifold
fitted with latest apt dry sump kit with tank located to boot with breather.
Cooling: custom spec R rad and oil cooler set up
spec R Intercooler and all pipework. Dash fittings used on oil and water pipes
Turbo: Rossport turbo kit with Owens 6982 latest turbo
transmission: Drenth sequential gearbox ( just rebuilt with new gears etc)
exedy tripple plate clutch
RS rear lsd rear diff
brand new non acd transfer box with Quaife lsd
Shell: custom caged multi point t45 cage going tied in to front and rear turrets.
Shell sandblasted underside and treated.
seam welded and all unnessacery brackets removed
Fibreglass doors with Perspex windows all round. Heated front screen
all other panals genuine evo 9 aluminium items with rolled rear arches to allow wider tyre/ wheel combo.
Suspension: very trick Reiger 3way suspension specced to car for circuit hill climb duty’s. Lots of adjustment
momentum adjustable rose jointed camber arms
new wheel bearings recently fitted.
Brakes: Ap 6 pot front and 4pot rear brakes.
Adjustable brake bias in car. Braided lines all round.
Electronics: motec m800 ecu with boost nob from 1-2 bar (adjustable while on circuit) 520-680 bhp
race fuel map would see 750plus but only ran on v power since rebuild at low boost levels to dial in car
electronic fire extinguisher and electric cut off switches

Interior: lightened flocked top half of dash. Switches on panal in dash.
Corbeau revenge carbon seats
luke 6 point harness (all in date)
Sparco Alcantara snap off steering wheel
battery located to boot
Fuel system: twin bosche 044 pumps with swirl pot/ tank in boot. Updated intank pump. Standard fuel tank
other parts include custom Nortek 3.5” exhaust
Apr carbon splitter and mirrors
team dynamic 18x9 wheels with slicks fitted
as said I’ve owned the car for 12yrs which was standard with 20,000 miles on clock now 34k ish
it will be a sad day to see it go but lack of use and another race car forces sale.
Im not desperate to sell and it’s taken me a long time to decide to advertise it.

please note this is a seriously fast and capable car and not for the faint hearted. Lap times achieved are quicker than touring cars
