The spaceframe chassis supports Lotus mechanicals, BRM-badged twincam with drysump, Tranex gearbox and an LSD to create a well mannered car that is rapid, great fun to drive and always admired.

It's registered as a 1972 Lotus "Sports" with insurer-agreed description of a "Lotus Elan Hybrid Coupe" which costs peanuts. Road tax is zero.

Modifications include an Aldon Amathyst mappable ignition system and Momo removable wheel, but all original parts are included in the sale including a period Lola-badged wooden wheel (which my legs didn't fit under).

Building a house, a thriving business and ageing relatives consume all of my time which means this great car has covered pitifully few miles since coming into my ownership. So its regrettably time for a new enthusiast to take charge.
