Historic Formula Ford Van Diemen RF89

The car is located about one hour from any Stockholm airport easily accessible from London Stanstead by Ryanair (from £9.99). We will come and get you at the airport.

Full history since imported from England.
Imported to Sweden in 1990 and then sold to Norway where it ended up sitting in a garage for over ten years.
We have now made a full restoration and maintained all necessary parts. The job was done by Sweden’s most skilled FF-mechanic.
After the full restoration the car has made two “shake down” races.
The car has a Greenwood FF-engine , totally stripped and has new bearings and all checked so it is according to FF specification. To be safe we also replaced the dry sump pump with a new from Burton. New ignition leads.
New throttle cable and new throttle return springs.
New starter motor
New gel battery and extra external starter battery.
New brake pads.
The car has a new Al floor and skid plate in 7075 grade airplane aluminium imported from US.
Floor glued and riveted to the chassis.
New O rings in clutch mail cylinder.
New seals in brake, main and slave cylinders.
New aluminium radiators. (as it was originally) replacing the brass radiators.
From Universal we have got:
New foam filled petrol tank with new fuel filler neck hose.
New Nose box.
New Wheel bearings.
New Rear wish bones,
Coil cover, dzuses, and lots of bits and pices.
All tubes and pipes to dry sump replaced.
New mirrors, new 6 point “Sabelt” safety harness, wiring loom + toggle switch,
New fire extinguisher.
New rear LED light.
Shock absorbers maintained, oil and gaskets replaced by the Swedish company SELLHOLM TUNING.
Grp parts maintained and painted.
Four new black Weller wheels and four white wheels with AVON tyres. The gearbox is of the new and improved type (=Hewland). No extra sets of gearings except what is in the car. 

The car is sold due to driver has retired from racing.
