Description:
This car was originally built for the Classic Touring Car Racing Club Pre-90 Championship. Subsequently the car has been raced in series and championships such as the CTCRC Pre-93 Championship, Blue Oval Saloons Series and Classic Thunder.
The car has many race wins and podiums and won the overall BARC CTCRC Pre-93 Championship in 2009. With limited modifications, the car would be eligible for CSCC Future Classics, BARC Modified Saloon Car Championship, PR8 Racing Saloons, etc.
Specification:
Seam welded 3 door bodyshell fitted with a weld in roll cage and presented in the famous Graham Goode Listerine BTCC colours
XSport lightweight GRP/Kevlar panels, including RS500 front bumper, GRP bonnet, tailgate and RS500 rear wing
Engine built by Joe Stevens for 2017 season (car was not raced in 2018) with all new parts to the highest specification (it took me years to collect all the best components)
Standard bore 200 block upgraded to 6 long studs
Mark Roper 4x4 cylinder head developed to WRC specification

Mechanically the car is in excellent condition with limited use since a full powertrain refubishment including the new engine.
The paint and bodywork are in reasonably good order, but please keep in mind this is race car rather than a show car.
A huge amount of development and hard work has gone into this car over the last 10 years, resulting in many fantastic results, enormous amounts of fun and many good memories.
Unfortunately, a new project forces sale and it is with great regret our Cossie needs to find a new home.
