Converted by Hopkins Motorsport in 2002, this is a stretched 460hp Scania tractor unit forming a professional, long body race transporter capable of carrying 3x Caterham-length cars on the upper deck, 1 car on the lower deck and a huge amount of loading space in belly lockers, cupboards and storage boxes. The sale also includes 2x 12m by 8m projection Weatherweave PVC awnings fully-fitted and stored in the vehicle.

The tail-lift is a 2ton Dhollandia which has had rebuilt rams.

The truck could be converted to carry 3x cars on the lower deck if required or addition of an office/seating area.

It was purchased by us in March 2014 then had a comprehensive rework by Hopkins Motorsport, which included a full exterior renovation and repaint in Mercedes artic white 2K, fitment of 2 side doors & internal steps for awning access and complete interior reconfigure to suit our needs.

The interior features full air-conditioning/heating, Cat 5 network sockets and plug sockets, awning storage, euro-bin storage, cupboards, fridge and toolbox storage (listas not included).

The two large awnings have been professionally cleaned twice a season and still look great.

Tractor unit has a double sleeper cab, rear ride height control and self-levelling, cruise control and all the functional features of a R144 tractor unit. The truck will sit nicely at the speed limiter at pretty much any incline; it’s extremely easy to drive.

The vehicle has been fully maintained by Scania Lingfield regardless of cost to include 12-weekly inspections required by our operator’s license. The service history is comprehensive and amongst other items included a gearbox replacement at the end of 2014.

Last MOT was carried out December 2018.

The truck is currently wrapped with our livery, but this can be easily removed.
