Coldwell C14 Group 6 Sports Prototype
Coldwell C14 Chassis number C14/005/70 is one of a small number of Group 6 Sports Prototypes constructed in 1970 by Bill Needhams Coldwell Engineering in Sheffield UK. The car has a short chain of ownership from new in 1970. Sold by Bill Needham to Herbert Tulodzieki (Austria) and subsequently sold to Peter Maurer (Germany) and Fred Laufer (Germany). Bought in 2001 by Lorraine Gathercole and then raced by Lorraine and Dave Gathercole in Martini Trophy (HSCC) and Master Historic Sports Car Racing with great results including a Masters outright win. Purchased by Martyn Donn in 2016 and raced in Peter Auto CER, Masters Historic Sports Cars and HSCC Pre 80’s.
The car has recently been fitted with a brand new 0 miles Gathercole FVC with dyno time only and a vast array of new parts and features in the last 12 months as follows:
