2020 FIA F3 ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIP
SVC (Scuderia Villorba Corse) is the Italian team well knew in the GT and LMP competition; with the brand SVC ASIA is the only Italian team taking part in the FIA F3 Asian Championship.
The third edition of the FIA F3 Asian Championship introduce some very important new features.
December 14-15: Sepang International Circuit
January 10-11: Dubai Autodrome, UAE
January 17-18: Yas Marina Circuit, UAE
February 14-15: Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia
February 22-23: Buriram International Circuit, Thailand
Respecting the latest FIA regulations, this will allow the drivers who want to do 2 championships, to take the score in both the series for the super-license, since the Asian championship will end before the beginning of the various European championships (F.Renault; FIA Regional etc)
Before the first event, there will be 3 days of testing, but it is also likely that some tests will take place during the winter.
This FIA Championship allow the drivers to compete with a very affordable budget in a competitive and exciting race calendar.
- All the circuits are FIA grade 1 (F1 standard)
- Minimum 2,5 hours of free practice every event
- 3 races per event
- The Championship awards a high score of FIA Superlicence points, with 18 points to the winner and down to the 10th place.
The required budget is very affordable, about half of the budget required in the similar European Championships (F. Renault and FIA Regional European), and allows drivers to shine in the Far East, thus opening up possible new career prospects.
Technical package is composed by:
Alfa Romeo engine 4c; 1750 cc turbo; 270 hp
To be part of SVC Asia Teams means, at the end of the season, possible test with GT3 or LMP3 and LMP2
