Classic clubman with lots of Ford 1500 spares.
1992 built in New Zealand based on Mallock U2 mk9 and run extensively in Classic events around the South Island in the 90's and early 00's. Schedule T&C Group 4 certification. Quick wee car which keeps pace (and beats) historic formula fords and hot Lotus 7s. Been garaged since 2001, only venturing out on the occasional track day as owner now based in UK. Square tube chassis running Herald front end (steering rack, uprights, discs etc) and the remainder Ford (engine, gearbox, diff etc.). 1500 pre-crossflow full race engine built by Maurie Bone running Weber 40 side-draughts. Hasn't run on track for a few years so engine will need a freshen. Plenty of devlopement potential left.
Comes with extensive spares (see pictures).
6 blocks (1 complete, 2 bare blocks and the others in between. One is a 109E with the rest 120E)
4 diffs (2x 4.1:1, 1x 3.5:1, 1x 3.7:1)
6 heads (116E, 113E, 105E - various oversized ports/valves).
Full set of Formula Ford tyres on rims which are the racing set (shown wrapped in plastic to keep soft).
Some other widened Ford/Triumph wheels with slicks and wets.
Full set of Lotus Cortina rims.
Two 28/36 downdraught Webers.
One remote, one extractor, one downdraught inlet manifold.
Spare triumph steering rack and radiator.
A couple of good cams then other cams, rocker gear and other bits and pieces shown in pics.
Despite some of the spares being very desirable on their own I don't want to split so buyer takes it all.
Open to discuss serious offers. Buyer will need to arrange transport/shipping at own cost, or collect from Christchurch, New Zealand.
Price given in $NZD as that is where the car is located. Happy to take funds in £ into UK account as that is where seller is.
A purpose built trailer is available at aditional cost. Trailer is single axle purpose built tilting car trailer.
