1969 Nerus Silhoutte chassis number (plate with the car) NE69-5. Two class wins at Mid Ohio SVRA historics last weekend. This was the second event since a frame up restoration. I purshased this car from Paul Medeley in New Zealand three years ago. Upon arrival in Kentucky, I installed a completely new Farley built engine (1660cc Ford cross flow). The engine was built with all new parts starting with a cosworth bottom end and carillo rods. A CNC head from the UK with a matching cam yields 182 horspwer at the crankshaft on Farley's dyno. The engine was checked carefully during the chassis rebuild, and with 210 lbs. of compression was reinstalled. Oiling is dry sump. New fuel cell installed in 2016, and new 6 point belts in 2017. The roll bar is sufficient for a tall driver. I am 6'2" with a tall seating height.
The car finished on the podium at the SVRA enduro at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road coarse SVRA event in 2016. It has class wins at Mid Ohio and Amelia Island. It has made two appearances at the Rolex Moterey Histoics at Leguna Seca. I am 74 and ready for a slower race car. A more competant driver would likely be much faster. The car is competative with all cars in its class including Lotus 23's.
I will arrange shipping to any destination world wide. Cost to be paid by the purchaser.
