£ 125,000

Hexagon Classics are delighted to offer this unique tribute to the fabled Porsche RSR.  It was built to a very high standard in South Africa by Bailey Edwards in 2013/14, as an homage to the famous 1974 3.0 RSR.

The build costs were estimated to be more than £150,000.  Built from a 1980 911 SCR chassis, it has a 911 (964) engine, G50 gearbox, and numerous other high-quality racing modifications. The car was well-known at Porsche Club South Africa, where it competed successfully in various club events in 2014.

  • 964 Engine with Wustner pistons and sleeves

  • G50 gearbox with Haggot shifter

  • Titanium springs, retainers and conrods

  • Racing camshafts

  • Elephant fully adjustable sway bars

  • Bilstein shock absorbers

  • 345 bhp and maximum torque of 406 Nm.

  • Weighing in at 975 kg

  • Glass fibre composite with original steel roof

  • Cage and Fire extinguisher

This car really need to be viewed, as it is difficult to describe the workmanship and skill level that is evident when inspecting first-hand.  A driver’s car for the brave, but as far as classic car track day fun is concerned, this car will be hard to beat.
