Brahma B2 1600cc Sports Prototype 1966.
Built in 1966 by Paul Fitzgerald of Fitzgerald Engineering in the US. It had a 2litre Abarth twin Spark Engine which was changed to an 1800 Ford BDA in 1972 and was successful in the SCCA races of that period. Completely renovated by Chevron Engineer Steve Sheldon in Bolton it was fitted with a period 1600 Lotus Twin Cam as the original engine proved impossible to locate.
It has raced over the past few years in the invitation class of the Guards Trophy & has proved competitive with Chevron B.8 's and similar cars.
A unique one off piece of Can Am history and a delightful car to drive with its aluminium monocoque and Hewland Mk 8 gearbox
