LG Motorsports ALMS GT2 C6 Corvette

Dallas Motorsports is pleased to present this historical ALMS GT2 C6 Corvette

Built by Riley Tech, CRD Engine Development, and LG Motorsports, this is the only non-factory backed GT2 Corvette to successfully race:  EVER!  Not only was this car successful at multiple race events; but it was the only GT2 Corvette to out qualify Chevrolet’s factory-backed racing team. This historic car is chassis #001 and is also the only one currently built to date and has even been on display at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  The car has less than 30 hours since it was rebuilt by LG Motorsports, the engine has been completely rebuilt and is ready to race.  This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of racing history.

The car made its debut in 2008 at the 12 hours of Sebring and completed about half the race until it was retired due to overheating problems.  The first few races of that season were a mix of learning, development, and on track hits. By the 2009 season the car was sorted and the team came away with a top five finish and a 2nd place start at Petit Le Mans.
