Description:

This Renault Clio 172 Cup was modified last autumn to make a safe hillclimb car and has competed in eight hillclimbs and sprints. I have discovered that at my age the car is a lot faster than I am brave. So I have decided to give up. Despite this the car is very competive but could go a lot faster with a younger better driver.
This car cost about 8000 to build.
The car is fully road legal with MOT.

The specs are as follows

Engine modified and mapped by KTec to produce 187 BHP
Adjustable coilover shocks allround, lowered several inches.
All suspension rubbers replaced with black polystyrene bushes
Negative camber allround
Rear antiroll bar
Engine and gearbox mounts replaced with KTec racing grade
New high flow exhaust with no cat.
Full rollcage
Two race seats still with several years left on the FIA certification
Six point FIA harness
Plumbed in fire system
New windscreen

Car is in good running order with no known faults.
