this image is of Michael Schumacher celebrating another pole position, this time at the 2006 Bahrain Grand Prix at the Sakhir circuit near Manama, the capital of Bahrain. He did not go on to win the Grand Prix (the finishing line-up was Fernando Alonso in the Renault R26, first from Schumacher in the Ferrari 248 F1 and Kimi Rikknen in his McLaren MP4-21 coming third). 2006 was to be Schumachers final year at Ferrari, announcing his retirement in an emotional press conference at the Italian Grand Prix later that year. He continued to work with Ferrari as an ambassador, until he returned to Formula 1 in 2010 for the Mercedes F1 Team. With a gloss finish on black wood, measuring 79cm x 60cm with drill holes for fixing.
