Van Diemen Multisport Adapted Training Car With Full Dual Controls For 2 Drivers.

Drivers of all experiences, from novice to experienced, can be advanced quickly & economically saving years of self development 

This car is a fantastic tool particularly for single seater racers.  The Van Dieman chassis is fully adjustable & runs on standard FF1600 rims/ tyres/ pads etc 

It handles & feels just as a Formula Ford with a power unit delivering additional hp to allow simular power delivery to that of a Formula Ford 1600 even with an additional person.

The car was developed to allow one to one tuition & is set up with full dual controls, steering, brakes & clutch. This allows either the pupil or instructor to immediately switch to driving without losing time by pitting & switching seats.

Additional fuel tank fitted to allow for much longer lap runs (40lts)

Extensive work carried out to bring the car up to this standard.

Additional shoulder chassis bars also added for rigidity & safety.

Fitted with Zetec 2.0 and throttle bodies producing 174.8 BHP & 157.2 Ib/ft 

Fitted with intercom

2.0 Zetec with throttle bodies fitted & mated to the original Ford 5 speed gearbox that came with the car

Dry sump & swirl pot

New dampers & springs fitted

New fuel tanks fabricated

New aluminium radiators & electric fans

New facet pumps

New red top battery

Shoulder bars fabricated

Modified gear selector

Ajustable seat runners fabricated to existing seats. (Seats & runners easily removed if necessary for very tall drivers)

Suspension, roll bars etc powder coated

Uprights refurbished

Second set of Van Diemen pedals & master cylinders fitted

Mono steering wheel & fabricated chain driven column linked to original steering column.

Original four AP callipers refurbished & fitted to the rear uprights.

Four new AP callipers fitted to the fronts. New uprated brake discs fitted to the front

All gauges also replaced with fuel gauge/sender added

Fibreglass bodywork painted to high standard 

Splitter & fabricated rear wing

The car has only had one outing since this work was carried out.

Recently fully prepared, fluids flushed & oil changed
