This is a specially made Showcar that can be used as a simulator. It was created in the period of 2008-2010 when simulation was becoming more popular. Showcar specialist Bob Salisbury, located in Silverstone, received requests from several F1 teams for a Showcar as a simulator. Salisbury then decided to make 10 Showcars/Sims from different molds due to rights, with a modified chassis and limited space for the technology. This way, he could serve all teams with a universal Showcar/Sim. This car is one of those 10. It has a wider cockpit, adjustable pedals, a computer in the sidepod, a subwoofer in the back of the seat, and one connection to be operational immediately. The car was in English hands until 2016 and then used as a showcar in the theater for 3 years. Apart from software updates and some signs of wear and tear, it is immediately deployable. The car is painted in light-absorbing paint so that beautiful LED effects can be created.
